Your immune system is in your gut, to take care of your gut you need to make sure that you're eating healthy food and not processed food. This means no fast food, nothing from a can or a Box. If your gut is not in a good place, neither will your immune system.
If you have seasonal allergies whether you know you have them or not, Your immune system is temporarily weakened when you're experiencing allergies. Make sure you take your allergy medicines. I love flonase.
Vitamin C and D are essential for immune support. You should be getting 1000mg of vitamin C a day, and you can safely consume 10,000-40,000 IU's of vitamin D a day. If you're like me and want to know, " am I buying a good product?" I like purchasing from vitacost.com because they offer organic and non GMO product ingredients. Obviously a product sold at $4 is not going to be the equivalent quality of something sold at $16. Keep that in mind! Read your labels, check your ingredients.
Stress weakens your immune system. So stop worrying!
Your body is strongest in the mornings. That's because your body was at rest. Rest is a good thing.
Healthy lymphatics are important for your immunity as well. They work with the immune system in a sense that they're responsible for removing waste back into the circulatory system (blood) so it can be sent to the kidneys to be removed. Best thing to keep your lymphatics healthy, massage and exercise. Because lymph only moves if the muscles are moving. So it can either be done manually (massage) or actively (through movement)
Water Water Water. I know your SO sick of hearing drink more water. But water is needed for cleansing, hydration, and detoxification. Your body gets water from all sources (food and beverages) but the more you can give it in it's natural form the better it will operate.
Because we're so busy you don't stop to think of all these things you touch. Hand washing is important. Way more important that hand sanitizer. Yes I said it. Hand sanitizer doesn't compare to washing with soap and water. Please make all efforts to wash your hands after using the restroom and before your cook food or eat food.
Being contained indoors sometimes does more harm than good in times like this. I know we're suppose to remain more isolated from people, but being even in your yard with fresh air is so so healthy for your mind, body, and spirit. Some may disagree, and we'll have to agree to disagree on that.
